yup the pushbutton will ground the black wire and start the free air cal.

Talked With Innovative For A While Today And They Think The Unit Is Busted So Im Sending It Back

Correct. Stick guys sometimes do the free air on coast down, exploiting DFCO, for convenience. If it's not yet in the pipe, that'd be convenient for free air cal too.

I Did Have A Cal Problem But Even After We Cal'ed It It Still Wasnt Working Right So Their Just Gonna Warrenty It Out

FOR WHEN I WIRE UP THE NEXT UNIT DO YOU ll reccomend putting the heater ground with the signal grounds or having the grounds seperately

i orignally had them seperately yesterday but during my talk with innovate they had me move everything to a common ground.. i dont know if this was just for testing or how it should be

If you wire the red LED in parallel with the switch, the LED flashes during warmup, goes solid when the LC-1 is ready, and flashes error codes when something is wrong.

Edit: Innovate have recently had a bad batch of LC-1 modules.
