p0480 and p0481
they are from installing a manual fan switch. I followed a write up from one of the members, but he didnt mention a service engine light from it. Is there something I can do to stop them from comming on? If not, can the codes be tuned out?

I followed the write up and everything works fine. It throws the codes when I manually turn the fans on. me...."hmm Im going to turn the fans on...click" ECM " what the **** is going on bitch I didnt tell the fans to turn on....p0480 p0481"
What does slp do to prevent these lights from comming on with there manual control?

Generally what sets these codes is a short ot ground in the relay control circuit between the PCM and the relay. Now whether it's because you added a manual witch or not it doesn't matter. For the manual switch, you have to add a diode between where you spliced into the control circuit wire and the PCM. As for the codes setting with no manual switches, your going to have to ohm out the wires and find out if it's shorted or not. If it is, your going to have to start tracing wires.
