When your SES light flashes it means the car is misfiring and catalyst damaging. So basically its saying that something (most likely unburnt fuel) is causing the wrong emissions to run through your exhaust resulting in catalytic convertor damage. If you drive very long with it flashing like that you can melt down your cats(if you have them.
when you say ran the car low on fuel...did it cut off on you going into the gas station?
if so you might have pissed off your fuel pump... the fuel cools the pump, and it has been known that if you run them dry for very long at all that you fry em'

Verdad Gallardo I also forgot to mention, when I put my fuel pump in somehow I managed to leave out one of the little rubber feet that go on the bottom of the sump. (I found it laying on the ground after I finished installing it) I was wondering I maybe the pump sock is being pinched on occasion? it threw codes a few days ago 0152, 0300, 0302. O2 on pass side front, random misfire, misfire on number 6. The guy that tuned my car for me said hes seen this twice before and it was a bad O2 sensor, it just seems odd that this all started happening around me running extremely low on fuel
