abs and pcm communicate??
Just wondering here in Mass inspection is done by obd2 plug in.If the abs light is on and its not working would this be found in a obd2 scan?

ABS/TCS, BCM, PCM, IPC,TAC & VATS are all seperate modules.
Only the PCM supports OBD-II diagnostics. It is the only one required to communicate emissions info. They do all communicate w/ each other, but no OBD-II code will be generated. So you should be fine in that aspect.

unless it has to do with the torque requested and torque delivered circuits(for traction control), or the abs module isnt communicating with the pcm. you will have no codes in the pcm that are abs related

They all talk to each other on a LAN system guys.
It is all GM dianostics though to access it. I.E TECH-II
