Default ? Inside....P0106 MAP/BARO CKT???

I have recently started getting this code pop up here and there and wonder what it is/means...

"P0106 MAP/BARO CKT Range/Perf"

It is a cam-only car and it was running fine for 1-1 1/2 yr's w/o any SES lights at all and now this comes on/goes off quit often. I replaced the MAP sensor and I dont know If that was the problem or not b/c it still comes on. Anyone have insight for me on this? Thanks in advance

Thanks Alot...thats probally the problem. Will this code cause any timing pulled, fuel added/removed, any other tunning issues? I recently dropped the idle a little so I could hear a better lope from the cam and thats probally it.

Not to break you stones, but your first post stated the car ran fine for over a year. Then you just said that you recently made a change. Next time, let us know in the first post.

I did not think about dropping the idle 50 rmp's when I made the post. Slipped my mind.....It ran fine for a couple months after that was done and then started throwing SES .....May be the idle to low, may not ....dont know yet

That happens. What is the MAP reading at idle and what do you have the idle set to?
