It's a learning feature. Depending on certain values that are being read, when certain changes are made... the PCM makes the appropriate changes, while storing critical data. Something might have went wrong when you were getting tuned, triggering the BLM afterward to adjust for proper AFR. You're SES light went off because you're PCM made the necessary corrections on it's own.

The car was checked again and all codes have been deleted. It was also recently swapped to an A4 harness and all. Could this have anything to do with the EGR and rear o2 codes?

alright... so i was thinking Maybe im choking the air out of my engine at idle

What if i just didnt drill my throttle body hole big enough. Should i drill it out more? Will the larger hole mess up my current tune?

You shouldn't even have to drill it.Is a scanner being used when the car is tuned or is it just run on the dyno? Never drill a TB unless you are watching the IAC count.

Here is an if--

If it was only dyno tuned on a non-load bearing dyno there is no way it would be tuned right.

meaning - It was tuned for WOT A/F and timing. Then you take the car off the Dyno and the tune goes off again because the L-terms start to relearn.

This is a big If. but I've been seeing it alot lately around here.Myself and some other shops have been getting these cars to retune them the correct way. Not saying your's is like that, just a possibility. That would explain the problems you are having.

"tunes" cannot be lost. Tuning software does not add the new values on top of the stock data, rather it completly rewrites the data segment and there's no other value for it to default back to.

Anything could of happened. He could of forgot to save the changes, loaded the wrong file into your pcm ect.

i dunno if this will help any but in the recent hot weather up here in the north east i started using my a/c

the car WILL NOT idle at all if the a/c is on. The only way to keep it running is to keep my foot on the gas (Even then its tough to keep at a reasonable rpm)

i think that it is possible to loose a tune or part of it anyway. my friend had his car tuned and we did a power balance test with a gm tech 2 to find a skip. and he had the speedo turned off. the minute after we unhooked the tech 2 and drive it the speedo was back working.

There's nothing else to say. You need to take the car back and have them fix their mistakes.
