You shouldn't have to constantly tune your car unless you're looking to get every last millisecond out of the car.
The other questions I do not know...you could probably leave the maf if you wanted but you'd prolly make a few buck by selling it and then it would be out of the way and not an eyesore.
I used the 2 bar map from a GM. Just had to cut off a mounting tab on the sensor and it was plug and play.

Opps Im using HP tuners. I had to build my VE table from scratch. Actually its still being built. I wouldnt say its easy at all.
For those of us who really dont know... can someone do a detailed explanition of why a SD tune is so much more valuble than the standard MAF tune for us FI guys?

The PN I listed has been the PN thats been used for sometime when going two bar with the GM PCM on a LS1 F body. I've been running it in the car since feb.
either way if both work its all good right?
