Default Guys with Predators COME IN! Plz

I have one and can get zero customer service help. ive called 4 times and sent 3-4 updated posts. i get nothing but an oh well let james know. well james hasnt done **** and i think my tune is my weak link. i dont want to take her to the dyno just yet because of all the money it costs and where im at on the mod list. for those of you with the DSP can you help me tune my car or adjust setting that have worked for you. ive tried messing with things a little but i dont want to mess anytihng up and nothing has seemed to help. if one of you has the know how and has done it before can you possibly assist me with mine. its a very frustrating situation when the people who know the product dont help at all

Best thing is a custom tune after providing them some real time data. There's some info here on Predator tuning: www.ls1tech.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2652650

If you're not ready to go on a dyno with a wide band O2 sensor the starting point for tuning (other than installing the base performance tune from the Predator or adjusting shift points, hardness, quickness, etc.) is to log your car, look at your STFT, LTFT, O2 readings, KR, etc. You need something like AutoTap, Vehicle Explorer, etc. where you go for a drive and log your PCM parameters under a variety of driving conditions.

Otherwise you don't know if you have tuning issues or not.

Don't know if it was ever a sticky, just saved it a couple years ago. The problem with "canned" tunes on handhelds is they assume the MAF, and most everything else is stock. If you got it from RWTD you should be able to request a free custom tune.

The SLP MAF is "supposed" to be near stock. Depending on
which version you got this is more or less true (less, the
early years model). It's liable to make a leaner WOT mix
but what you want to do first, is use the real time scan
you have to figure out whether it's jacked the fuel trims
around enough to result in WOT being additionally enriched.
SLP MAF is a tuning pain in the *** because SLP is not
going to provide anyone any calibration data.

I think you should go ask customer service when we're
all going to see our original version Predators upgraded.
You know, like they said was going to be the deal, back
when. Now that the newer version is out being sold, and
all. Should be pretty quick now. Yeah.
