IAT High Input?

IAT High Input?

Well today after doing little burn out, About 3 mins later te check engine little turns on. So I went to Autozone and they checked the computer and it was code 113, Air intake Temp High Input. What can it be? The guy told me it could be the AIT sensor, so I got it, and put it on, buy still on.(i didnt diconnect the batter). Any ideas? thanks

uh did you clear the code? If not it will probablyt ake a few drive cycles to go away.

Maybe jerking the motor pulled on the harness and
the connector came loose.

Try what he said, but also consider that just because a sensor throws a codes doesn't exactly mean that the sensor is bad. Was it verry hot outside when you did the burnout. The load and the high RPM could have made the underhood temps hot and throw the code. I mean it could have been a lot of things though.
