Around here, its all about the image. The ricers spend all their money on triple pillars with boost gauges and AFR gauges. A 12" tach and wide low profile wheels with horrible camber. They usually run out of money before it comes time to install any actual motor mods.

Seriously, to tune properly you need to understand how the PCM and it's strategies work.I always recommend the book "Corvette Electronic Fuel Management" that concentrates on EFI theories, strategies, explains the sensors (including terminology) and has a good bit of LS1/LS6 specific information. Spendy, but well worth the price because it's a excellent source of information that will never get outdated.
Book is ordered.Hope it helps.Thanks

send me some pm's and i can try and help as i have covered the basics in my car, haven't done a head/cam yet but i'm learning

It will. Just take your time and read all of it. The very first thing you should do before any tuning is save the stock tune so you always have a point of reference.

absolutely amazing little book, i've read it like 4 times, and even though you're picking up knowledge right away, you'll get more out of it every time you dive into it.

Yep, I aggree with that, they try to make the car look fast, and put their shipping list down the side, (things they want to buy). Run out of cash before any real mods. Also i dont understand why put a huge spoiler on the back of a front wheel drive car, wasn't spoilers for putting downforce on the driving wheels?

It seems that the more you read and go back and play with the software, the more all of the hyroglyphic looking text seems to turn into real words that you can understand.
