EFILive tuning
EFILive tuning Hi All,
I have a 1999 SS camaro w/ a vortec 9 lb supercharger.
I just purchased EFILive to tune it.
Is it better to use the 01+ file for better res on air/fuel?
if so, where can I get a copy.
Also does anyone have a good step by step tuning guide for EFILive?
I found the attached guide, but it isn't for EFILive.

EFILive has a set of tutorials in the help menu of both the scan and tune tool.
I don't believe the 01+ OS's give better resolution on fuel, but they are a bit easier to tune (no back up VE table). Being a boosted application, you may consider using one of the custom OS's.
You should also consider purchasing a wide band. www.greenlightmotorsports.com is a good place to get one.

And there are also help files that will walk you through this with the software. If you have Personal Version you will need to upgrade to the Commercial Version in order to utilize the Custom OS's

How do I know what one to install?
The custom os install tutorial shows you which one (see pages 2,3,4).
You should maybe go with the '02 tune instead of the '01.
You will need a wideband O2 to help you get your tables dialed in.
There's more info on the EFILive forum regarding how to swap OS's and how to work with the custom OS's.
