Efilive --- Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Efilive --- Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just purchased EFIlive comm + LC1, Installed it with the Optional LED. When I turn it on I get the flashing light then solid green per directions. then I installed the software and input the upgrade code to commercial version. then restart the software and check to see if it worked. it doesn't, I get an error that said that the cable can only be used for scanning and not for flashing the PCM. What do I do to fix this?

You might need to license the pcm to the cable.
I think if you go into the tuner and read out your tune, then go to write the cal back in it will ask you to confirm you want to license the full features to the connected pcm. At this point you can confirm that and cancel the cal update.
Otherwise post up on efilive forum you will likely get more help there.

they sent me a scan only cable with an upgrade code to commercial.
but I think to upgrade from a scan only cable I need to first upgrade to personal and then to commercial? not sure on that. has anyone else had this problem?

Please recheck your licensing details and ONLY enter the information on the card and nothing more or less. Have you reviewed the Help---> Register EFILive in the scanner or the tuner to make sure this information is right

Yes I did exactly that.
I have been on the phone with IRA.
Can you call IRA for me and have him call me back. he has my number.
