What causes this hesitation?

What causes this hesitation? Since I got the tune for my new heads, my car hesitates at part throttle right after I shift and let out the clutch. You can feel the clutch engage then a slight hesitation and then it starts going. What causes this in the tune?
Probably knock retard, either from mechanical noise
or an actual lean event (like the air surge when you
suddenly load the motor). KR can take a couple of
seconds to fully dissipate in the stock tune.

Could adjusting the RAF table fix your problem?. My car ran fine, changed the RAF then got hesitation when pulling away, may not be the problem in your case, just thought I'd post what I found to cause the problem.

That makes sense as I'm getting KR on my dyno pulls from 3k-5k but have no clue as to where it's coming from. Nothing is looking like it should be causing it.

Its kind of a stretch for that curing the problem, but there's a chance its what he's feeling.
Also, M6 Spark Smoothing is only in 99+ PCM's, its not available in the 98's. If I remember right, its under the far left tab in the spark section, on the right side of the table. Its got a little drop down box.
