WOT fuel pressure...should it drop?

WOT fuel pressure...should it drop? This is a totally separate issue from my other thread.
Once we had part throttle tuned to our satisfaction, we decided to hit WOT briefly just to see how close the air/fuel was. Result was 14.0, pretty lean. Next I decided to hit it one more time and watch my fuel pressure gauge to see what it does upon going WOT. Result was it dropped from about 61.5 to 55.
Is this normal?

SVO 30's.
Set up is G5X4 cam, stock heads, stock bottom, Fast 90/NW 90, Fast Fuel Rails, stock MAF, FLP 1-3/4 long tubes, 3" X Pipe into 3" bullets.
Fuel pressure sensor is at the end of the Fast Fuel Rail on the passenger side.

A rail mounted regulator should take out all of the
forward drops, so long as the pump is capable of
set pressure plus headroom. May be that you want
to add a Schrader before the reg to see if the pump
/ plumbing is fading on you, or the reg is just not
stiff enough.

you sure all connections are good (nothing loose on hotwire or ground)?
If it's any consolation, I have the racetronix set up and get a similar drop (63 idle, 52 WOT), but I'm not leaning out as you are. Been working on this one for a while and I still cannot explain my drop in FP.

A small drop is usually normal. Would an intank pump provide more stable pressure over a boost pump? As far as lean, WOT has not even been touched, afr will be fine once its setup.
