what could be causing my car to be going rich at WOT....

i have aem wideband and just put my car back together after a head gasket fix...and its running great at part throttle but as soo as i go wot is dumps fuel into the motor.....10 on the wideband gauge

could it be doing this just cause its still learning whats going on...the batt was unhooked for a while..

Maybe you need oxygen sensors. You may also just need a tune. My stock tune was commanding like 11.xx AFR at WOT, although I want actually seeing that at the wideband. You should hook a scanner up and scan the LTFT's, O2 sensors, and your wideband. If the LTFT's are high then the computer will be adding that number in percentage, of fuel, to what is already called for at WOT, which will result in a rich condition at WOT but not in closed loop. What are your mods??

Look for an intake leak after the MAF.

i am looking toward the maf cause i just replaced both of the pre cat o2's

my LTFT are around -8/-25%....it is kinda back and forth depending on what i am doing....what else could be causing them to go nuts like that?

maf
o2's....what else?

Do you have any type of oil in front of the intake right underneath the throttle cable? I'm asking because I seem to have the same problem, my lc-1 goes to 10.3 at wide open throttle I'm beginning to think I have a intake leak due to the oil residue in the front of the intake... Keep us posted if you find out anything...
