Default Bosch o2 used w/ LM-1: standalone p/n?

So my Bosch o2 sensor I use to tune with my LM-1 went bad. This is the second time this has happened to me and the first time I simply went to innovate's website and purchased a replacement sensor with the connection required to interface to the LM-1:

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=251&page=1

I'm tight on money right now and wondering if I can cut the old connection and buy just the oxygen sensor itself, solder the connections, and save money. I am aware they say not to do this, but I doubt the noise level will be a problem with decent connections even in the short 0-5v range.

Have other people just bought the sensor and connected it to an old interface to save money?

What is the Bosch part number for the 4-wire wideband sensor that works with the LM-1?

Thanks in advance
