Matter of fact, 4:10's are the worst possible gears for max MPH. You will hit the rev limiter in 5th at ~152. Then bog into 6th and lose speed. 3:73 is the optimum gear for stock engined cars for peak MPH. Easily hit the limiter.
Speed limiter is 162mph, confirmed by Chevy, and tested on a dyno. It does fuel shutoff much like the rev limiter. Some cars have 118mph, depending on options.
Stock engined/gears cars don't really need the limiter, as the gearing won't get into the peak.
You'll hear people saying their stock car will hit the limiter easily. They are full of ****.

I believe the six speed cars can do 160 stock. I have been 145 in a stock A4 ta, and it had more left in it. The firebird ram-air is good for like 1lb of boost at that speed. Maybe even more.

My friend Jessie has one in his car.. We are both installing TNT kits right now.. When we get it done we will do a autobahn run or 2... We both have full suspensions so it should handle ok..... I will keep everyone posted....
