[QUOTE=Beaflag VonRathburg]Would you be talking about that sound clip where the radio station pranks that girl into thinking they needed to replace all this nonexistant stuff? If so do you have a link to it or the one about the guy and his 88 iroc camaro?

Hey does your car have a chip?
Back in the day they only had PROMs (programmable read only memory) and the only way you could change the timing...etc is by changing/soldering a chip into your pcm mainboard.
Now we have flash / EEPROM (electrically erasable memory) that allows us to use programs like hptuners to change parameters

Fresh out of high school, i dropped one of those into my 2.7L v6 Sebring lmao...my friend had one in his 2002 Dakota R/T, he swore it gave him like 5 hp. I looked up online (after I'd spent the money) and discovered that they actually slow down the flow of air. He just installed a Kenne Bell in the R/T and tells me he's going to walk all over my z28 when it's finished...
