SCT XCalibrator 2 Flash Tool questions
I did a search already but it doesnt seem like alot of people are using it. My questions are would I be able to monitor certain paramiteres like watching the left and right o2 milivolts jump around etc. Also if I have tune sent from me by someone using HP tuners could I load that into the sct from my laptop or do all the tunes have to be and come from sct tuners etc?

You wont be able to load in a tune, Hp are locked anyways.
As for Scanning, i think they will have that shortly? They might have it out now, Pm Ryan "Slow" on this board, he will answer any of those questions.
I have a few in stock if you need one.

As of now if has home ported heads, gm hot cam, under drive pully, and exhaust. I plan on getting patriot LS6 heads deal, TRex cam, and LS6 intake. I just want to make low/mid 400's and I'm happy.

You can do passthrough datalogging with the LiveLink software on the sct website, it is a beta release for GM datalogging using a laptop.
Both .Tun and .hpt files are encrypted and cannot be loaded to a Xcal2.

Hp tuners is all the locals here and the dyno tuner (the only one on the island) has so I need something compatable to it. If I went with the EFILive setup would it be much different from HPtuner?

On Efilive, the scan tool is superior, and can send you tunes via email and if you hook up a wide band to it i can fix fuel / anything else by just getting log files from you. Plus it gives you 600+ perameters to change on your own if you want to do something with it. With Hp, you wont get any custom tunes from the company you buy it from.

For the 97-98 cars, they are UNLIMITED cars you can tune for only $549. So if you have 100 buddys that have 98, you wouldnt get charged to tune them.
I only set up your car though. You would have to do the tunes for the others.

You still might want to consider hptuners, if not for the simple fact that you have several others in your area that are familiar with it, we also offer Real Time Tuning free with most of our custom operating systems, we are the only tuning software to offer 2 bar support for 98 LS1's, you'll be able to tune up to 4 separate vehicles with your initial purchase or model year lock 98 LS1 Camaro/Firebird so you can tune an unlimited amount of them & still have credits left over for another pcm locked vehicle or Real Time Tuning. Also any other hptuner user could send you a file via email & you'd be able to load that via our hardware into your vehicle. Just a thought.
