All of the guys at HPT know their stuff, but it is hard for me to fly them in for some one-on-one tuning help, especially chris
Jim at Speed Inc does good work and I am very impressed with his skill.
I will cut to the chase- Basically, LGM is going to start slowly integrating HP Tuners into their current tuning software. We will still use LS1 edit due to our almost 2000 customer database, but HPT has some nice features that we are going to start using, especially the RTT and 2/3 bar SD.
With 4 almost 5 years learning Edit, learning HPT will be tough. Gaining some outside experience from someone well respected here will be crucial to our understanding of the software and the power of it. Depending on who is the most popular, and willing to make a trip to LG will help us with our decisions and learning the program.
Any and all comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Louis

im gonna tell you from experience that ed at ATI is a great tuner. him and the guys that work with him know what they are doing and keep you in the loop the whole time. he tuned my car and i was definetly impressed with what he was able to get out of it. i started with 297rwhp/308rwtq bone stock. after i put my longtubes and lid on i had it dynoed at his shop and put 333rwhp/339rwtq. i thought that was a great jump without a tune, but Ed said he could do better. so i gave him a chance and boy he held his bargain. i finished up with 352rwhp/360rwtq. and these are gains through the whole power band. i know some people are saying different dynos have different readings but i dynoed stock, after mods, and after tune on the same dyno. sorry for such a long rant, but i would definetly recommend you to go see him. if you want to im him, his member name is edcmat-l1.

My vote would be marcin (REDHARDSUPRA) Ive seen some pretty good tuners with HP tuners but marcin just amazes me how much knowledge he has with the software and how he has his own programs to get even deeper in to a tune. Do a search for redhardsupra on some of his posts and you will see what im talking about. He's not a sponcer but he is the man!!!
