Default SES light

i went wot a couple of times last week and the ses came on...a friend checked it out on a hand held computer...said it was o2 sensors .. he shut the light off...went wot again and light is back on... how hard is this to change..and the cost of them ...thanks i know this has probably been asked 100000 times but thanks for any help

Really need the exact codes before just replacing 02's. Was it one w/2 codes, both front, just one side, etc? If the light is still on get them read again and post the actual code(s).

alright that sounds like a good idea ...i'll try to get the codes posted tomorrow..give everyone more info on what the problem is ...thanks

Places like auto zone will read them free if you have one near you.

the codes are....po157...po137 ..oxygen sensor and heater circuit thats what i was told at autozone....and are these hard to install..hope not.

P0137 is bank 1, sensor 2 (driver side post cat) low voltage.
P0157 is bank 2, sensor 2 (passenger side post cat) low voltage.

"Heater circuit" has me confused - heater performance codes are different? Read the code descriptions/diagnostics for your year at gearchatter.com too before replacing. Rear 02's are easy to replace.

where can i get o2 sensors ..i went to autozone and they didn't know what to give me!!!!!!

Don't understand what their problem is - by the codes you posted you just want the rear 02 sensors for each side. They're interchangeable from side to side, just the length of the harness might be different. Available just about anywhere - maybe they just didn't understand which sensors? Try another parts place, NAPA...Advance...etc.
