Default Need Tune For Sts??

Well I am about done installing my sts turbo kit, I live in cincinnati Ohio and I have no idea who to have tune my car. One local guy said I must do a 3bar style tune which I have no idea concisering I am ignorant to tuning. others tell me to get a FMU and do a maf tune and I should be fine. Please give me some suggestions on what to do. Thanks

You could use just a 2 bar tune, no need for a 3 bar. But, you could just do a MAF tune and be fine. I ran 8 psi with the MAF, and made 475 rwhp on the stock bottom end. Are you going to pay someone to tune it? Or are you going to try and learn how to do it yourself?

find someone you can trust rather than relying on "right price".

Well I know that but in order to trust them I want to make sure I am paying the right price

I would think that if you do a MAF tune for an FI setup, I think $600 should cover it. But, if you're gonna get a custom 2 bar tune, it's a lot more involved. I'm not sure how much a tuner would charge for it.
