Default Going from 28.5's to 42's?

I have been getting the base tune on my 383 done while I have been breaking in the motor. I am around 500 miles now and the tune is spot on. I am going to have the car dyno tuned on Friday. My question is when I up grade to the 42lb injectors will I totaly have to retune the car? If I just enter the correct injector scaleing in the Injector Flow Rate table will the car automaticly adjust? Thanks in advance.

Technically no, but it's always best to do your final tuning with ALL the parts on your car. If you don't get the scaling correct it will change your fueling for part throttle and WOT.

if your car was tuned properly (aka not 'tune' by dicking with IFR values) then changing IFR table should not change anything but effective IPW. if it was hacked to begin with, then do yourself a favor and start from scratch.

I entered the stock IFR from the 03 Z06 bin since I have an OS from an 03 and went from there. It has not been "hacked." I did the SD tune to +/- 3 and then hooked the MAF back up and tuned that to 0 to -3. I wanted the tune in the slight negative so when it enters PE the computer won't add any fuel except what is being commanded.

RedHard. I am going to use the IFR for the 42's that I got off your web site. And from what I am taking from what you wrote the tune should still be on correct?

possibly... there's MANY ways to hack a tune, just ask any 'professionals'
there's a lot more to mess up than just IFR, but that's just the most popular method of doing it wrong.
post your tune, or email it to me (if you got my spreadsheet you got my email) and i'll take a look at it

Thanks. I will email it to you later. I am sure I jacked it up some where. It was my first attempt.
