Well there really won't be any major benefits except for the fact that you won't be throwing as many codes due to air flow, air temp., etc. I would go ahead and delete them just for the convenience factor. The front ones will affect your timing and performance however, so I wouldn't mess with those.

The rear O2 only monitor the efficiency of your cats (how well the are removing emissions), if you have cats. If you do not, you can delete them. The front O2s do not affect your timing, they only help the ECM stabilize the fueling around climatic conditions, so it stays as close to stoich as possible.

Deleting the O2's out of the computer provides the benefit of not having to replace O2 sims when they fail. The main benefit of sims or deleting in the PCM is to remove a constantly lit SES light. If it's lit up all of the time for the O2's, how will you know when another code is thrown?

You can also extend the O2 sensor socket on the exhaust. Something like a drilled out pair of spark plug sockets work great. I'm not sure what fits GTO O2 sensors.
