Car wont Idle, surges, and stalls. Plz help!
Well I just extremely revamped my setup, ported 90/90, agressive cam, high compression, high flowing heads, injectors etc.
I need help getting the idle manners a bit more liveable. I really want to be able to go from park to drive without the car stalling 3 times before I decide I have to two foot the gas and brake in order to keep it running.
Any and all help in tunning this would be appreciated. I have HPTuners and have messed a bit so far with the Idle spark a bit and checked made sure it wasnt running overly lean.
I have also done some logs of how it acts, etc. Anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated.

I been doing alot of reading, and my eyes are starting to go squirely and nothing Im reading is making sense anymore. Would really appreciate some advice from people who've been here already. Thanks

I have similar problems where my car sometimes surges real bad at idle, like 1000 rpm swings. I've tried just about everything in the tune having to do with the idle with no luck. My opinion is starting to become that the Fast 90 just really sucks that much when it comes to idle. I'm going to take mine apart and reseal the whole thing to see if that helps because I've had no success working on the idle through the tune.
I'd say keep playing around a little more. You said you've messed with the idle airflow and timing some. There are also correction tables such and overspeed and underspeed corrections. You can try messing with those to see if more or less correction helps. Good luck.

I made all of those changes, and all the car did is backfire and not want to stay running at all. I had to have it rev'd super high just to keep it running, but the more I rev'd, the more it would backfire. It's terrible. I need some serious tunning help.

It wasn't doing any of that until I made some changes. For the timming tables I just added timming in the lower RPM area, in Park. Yet driving down the street it now pop's and backfires out the exhaust.
Also, I do have aftermarket injectors and have made changes with those. However, nothing I do will make the changes for the LTFT's ever be the same.
Could I possibly have bad O2 sensors, also, would a leaking exhaust (say I didnt have my y-pipe properly clamped to my headers) cause problems?

Fresh air getting into the exhaust can cause backfires. When the fresh air mixes with unburnt fuel, itll ignite causing a backfire.
Did you scale the IFR correctly?
How much timing did you add?

I put it between .08 to .28 0-800rpms at 22* and 1200rpms same section i put 23*
Here is what my IFR table looks like right now

Well I just noticed that my PCV system was collapsed right where it joins not allowing the car to get any air. I removed the PCV system and the car decides to idle perfectly. However, I tried to put just the PCV valve back into the side of the intake, and the car then stalls. Do I just need to have my throttle open immensly? That doesnt seem like a good idea to me....

Just when I think Im getting somewhere and making progress I walk away, start it up, and same old ****...
...is it possible I have screwy o2's? anyone want to have a look at some logs, and see if they can spot something? Would be much appreciated. Thanks
