I'd take this directly to them instead of calling them out like this...

support@efilive.com OR paul@efilive.com should both be valid emails. Expect a little delay in response as they are located in a different time zone.

http://www.efilive.com/supvehicle.aspx

yeh man, thats not very nice calling them out like this. they do have their own website, forum, and contacts.

Cobalt 05-07 listed under V2. WHICH is NOT V1, the normal scan&tune with the small cable

Call the dude you bought it off. All efilive resellers are required to do the initial support. Did you post on the efilive forum?

Huh? They have some of the best tech support in my experience. Getting tech support should not be that big of a problem unless your making it hard on your self for some reason. JMO

there is no 'best'

HPTuners
EFI LIVE
LS1EDIT
LS2EDIT
LT1EDIT
SCT - not quite sure but heard they released stuff to do our cars

I personally love and use EFI LIVE.
I have plenty of friend with EFI LIVE and with HPTuners, HPTuners is more user friendly I think , but I learned perfectly fine on EFI LIVE.

thing is with HPTuners you can tune V6's
