Can my HPTuners scan codes on non-GM cars? I had a SES light come on in my Infiniti and decided to try connecting the HPTuners scanner to it. I thought I might be able to get just the codes out of it but it tells me it cannot find the VCM. Is this possible?
Otherwise can anyone recommend a decent laptop type scan tool for non-GM OBD2 vehicles?

currently it will only scan & read codes for vehicles on the supported vehicle list http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite_vehicles.php
it may scan & read codes on other vehicles but its not guaranteed.

If you buy the software for it, AutoTap supports all 3 US makers, plus others, IIRC. But it is not cheap.
