Re: Can edit make a A4 pcm work in a M6 swap? Yes, find a flash file for a M6 same year and same segment 1 ID as the A4 and load that file into your pcm. Warning! Make sure it has the same segment 1 ID or you could mess up your pcm.

Re: Can edit make a A4 pcm work in a M6 swap? As I understand it, segment 1 is all you need to be sure of. I would make sure of that with Ken though. I also think segment 1 has to be the same for you to be able to compare the two files using the "read" button in one of the tables. If you can read it that like, it should be a file you can use.

I found a stock flash file with the same segment 1 id as mine but its from a 2000 WS6 and mine is a 1999 Ws6. would that be ok?

Re: Can edit make a A4 pcm work in a M6 swap? Sorry for not getting back any sooner. That file should be fine for you to use since it has the same segment 1 ID. Did you try to open up a flash file from your pcm and then try to compare this 2000 file? If they will compare, it should be a good file to load into your pcm.
