Which wires did he cross?

Just putting an Ohm-meter across the older 1-wire O2 sensors was usually enough to fry the sensor, for example.

He crossed the 02 sensor wires on the factory ones where you have to slpice it for the headers to extend it i think he switched the brown ones.

I'd try replacing the O2 sensor at this point. If that fails, and he's absolutely sure he's got the wiring right now, it's time for a replacement PCM.

If he's absolutely, positively certain that he got the wires connected correctly it's PCM time.

The only powered circuit on the O2 sensor is the heater. And even without it, you'd still see sensor voltage albeit lazily until the sensor gets up to temp.

No clue, and you may need to have it tweaked to talk to your BCM so VATS will let it start.

Bet he's glad he tried to save $$ by splicing his O2 harness. Expensive lesson to come.

Before you go and replace the PCM, make sure the ENG SEN fuse is not blown. It's located in the second fuse and relay center which is in the engine compartment.

There's a good idea. I bet that's all that happened. Been there, done that.

Depending on emisions rules in your area, you could run open loop all the time. That way you dont need the O2's. You would need to change some tables, could be a way forward.....

Id recheck the 02 wiring & make sure its correct.I had that problem
& it set only misfire codes,no 02 faults.Worth a try before getting to deep.

Yea the cars running but like ****. It falls on its face. The wiring is correct we bought bosch 13111 you dont have to splice them they are already exteneded and you plug them into the harness.

I have another question though I was looking at a new pcm and they said it needs flashed (reprogrammed) can Hp tuners do this?
