The custom OS from HPT will lock out the file from being read or modified by EFI Live. If you want to be able to modify the file with EFI Live, you'll need to return the PCM to a conventional OS with HPT.

Please don't type with caps on Jpr. It makes it hard to read.

I recommend you go and do a compare using HPTuners, against
your stock PCM file (believe I gave you that on a floppy in the
early going). Or a stock .bin off the repository if you can't find
your original. Then every table that is different from stock, copy
it out and paste to an Excel spreadsheet, label it so you know
what's what a month from now, do it until you have captured
all the differences in a safe place. Then you can go and push
these into EFILive and have pretty much the same tune, though
you might have some dialect, scaling type differences to deal
with. But Excel is an easy place to fix those kind of things too.

NOT HAPPENING JIMMY

BESIDES I'VE UNDERGONE 2 OR 3 DIFFERENT (MAJOR) TUNES SINCE THAT TIME

IM THINKIN TO USE HP TUNERS TO GO BACK TO A REGULAR OS THEN JUST READ THE FILE WITH EFI LIVE.....

IF ITS A BIG *** PAIN THEN ILL JUST STICK WITH HPT FOR THE T\A (FOR NOW) AND JUST USE EFI LIVE FOR THE TRUCK...

THE "CUSTOM OS" IS ONLY SO I COULD USE THE RTT FEATURE OF HP TUNERS SO I THINK IT SHOULD BE EASY TO GO BACK AS IM NOT REALLY LOOSING ANY FUNCTLITY PAST THE RTT

OK, I thought you meant one of the SD OSes. Going back from
the RTT "MAF enhanced" to standard should just be a compare,
copy-all proposition.

Just out of curiosity, why the switch? Both programs are very capable.

You have to respect a vendor that will help support converting to a competitor. I've been on the fence about what product to buy. You can consider another unit sold.
