While you are at it, there are also schools that teach how to spell COURSE. Just kidding.

Accelerated Certification Program (ACP)
http://www.efi101.com/acp.html

I have been thinking of taken this. Its a tax dedutable anyways so I am looking into it very hard. I am sure it would pay off in the end since I want to be a tuner as a hobby and side job.

Ben will definitely treat you well. The ACP class will have you tuning a motec aftermarket ECU on a BMW 318 and a yet-to-be-determined aftermarket ECU tuning a VVT Toyota.

Let me know if you end up signing up for any of the classes.

As of right now, I teach the EFILive class. The ACP class is always taught by the owner of EFI U, Ben. Very very knowledgable guy.

We haven't determined the next course date, but it will likely be towards the end of September to mid-October in Temecula, CA.

Would this course be a good step to take if i was planing on in the future owning a tuning shop? Also would i be able to become an apprentice at a shop after i take the course to help give me more hands on training, because i notice the class is only 2 days.

i just finished up 101 today and talked to matt about the efilive class and he said they weren't sure if they are going to have 1 at that time... i was really hoping to take it , on another not the efi 101 was really good, there are a few more questions i had that i didn't get to answer... they but the bmw on the dyno, which was a stick, but how do you dyno a auto? and if there are tons of different tables in the software, are the fuel and timing one's that only effect power?
