Big cams make an LS1 run rich, which doesn't affect a cold motor as much as a hot motor. Cold motors need a little more fuel anyway. The problem can be corrected by scaling the Main Volumetric Efficiency table by 60%. When you first start an engine, it runs for a while in open loop mode even if hot.

scaling it plus 60 or minus 60?

Go to the main volumetric efficiency table multiply all parameters from 400-1200 RPM by 60%.(Positive 60%).This is useful if your hot start up is rich - you should determine your injector pulsewidth at hot startup with Atap. If I remember correctly normal is 4-5 msec pulsewidth on a moderately cammed ls1. Maybe one of the Gurus will step in....Camaroholic, Team ZR-1, NoGo.....????

i heard that swapping non-stock injectors messes up the PCM during hot or warm starts.
my car feels like it loads up with fuel for about 10 seconds during hot/warm starts. it bucks and isn't smooth. it goes away and all is good again. but its very annoying and I'm concerned that it dumps too much fuel into my exhaust and is bad for the cats.
what should i do?

let me re-phrase that...my car starts up fine. perfectly. idles fine even when warm/hot. but once i try to drive away, that is when it loads up/bogs/sputters. that lasts about 5-10 seconds, and then clears up.
