Default Random Misfire after H/C ?

Anyone know what could be the cause? I've taken the drivers side plugs out and inspected them they seem fine but i figured it was probably a broken plug from my headers rattling around in there when i was trying to realign them. Oh if it make a difference Stg 2 heads, TR224 114, ASP, Mac Headers, SY3500, Ported MAF + TB. Maybe i could just need tuning?

Thanks

D

Yeah, that's normal for doing a cam upgrade. You'll have to go in with LS1edit and desensitize the the miss-fire detection. Most people just set the value to 32000. BTW, how do you like the cam? That's the one I'm going to installing soon.

normal.. any cam is gonna make misfires. I toggled my po3000 code off on edit. I tired setting the tables to 32000, but that only worked for like a week.

I get about 10-15misfires on each cylinder at idle.. its normal

Your converter will not stay locked until you get that fixed with edit.

I'm getting the same code in my 02 Z06 after a cam install. What tabs do u change the #'s in. Do u just change all the #'s that are 327## something? Thanks.

there is nothing u can do about misfires. Its just part of the cam life. You can raise the idle to help a little, but you still will have them. To turn the SES off you just toggle the p0300 code off on edit.

Go to "Engine Calibration" ->LOW RPM ->Edit whole table->VALUE=32000->fill value
->LOW RPM by CYL->Edit whole table->VALUE=32000->fill value.
->IDLE by CYL->Edit whole table->VALUE=32000->fillvalue.

You can review this in Edit User's Guide.

Modify the following test tables to 32000:

Idle by Cyl
Low RPM by Cyl
Low RPM

If you do this then a true "misfire" is not reported. If you follow the above Edit then they will be reported via the HIGH RPM table.My .02 joel(Bink)

With the wrong info!!!
I Corrected my post- should Not Edit the Med RPM table...Instead Edit "Low RPM by Cyl" and "Idle by Cyl" and "Low RPM"-according to users manual.Dragon had it right!! My Bad!!!!

Entire table.

Bottom right corner has Edit Whole Table. In place of the word "Value", type in 32000. Then click fill value.

How can you tell if your converter is locking/unlocking?
