6200 RPM

Without valvetrain upgrades, I'd stick with the stock setting...that's part of why it's there. Just my thoughts....

That wasn't meant to be a smart answer (kinda sounded that way...sorry). I'd not push my luck without a change of springs and maybe a cam to make mor power up there as well....

I appreciate the input.I noticed when i was programming the HPP3 it had the capability to change the rev limiter.

I'm trying to find out how far i can push my LS1 for sundays race.

LS6 engines have the rev limiter set to 6600 rpm but they have stiffer springs and lighter valves.

Hey trackbird, are you running polyurethane sway bar busings on the rear end?

Nope....not yet. I started to, and started to again....and decided to buy swaybars with bushings (as soon as I get to it) and do it that way. Why do you ask?

Well I have Prothane polyurethane swaybar bushings on both the front and back. The front ones are great, but noise from the rear busings is driving me crazy, so I'm thinking of switching back to 1LE bushings just on the rear. I'm just wondering if I will notice any difference in cornering; I really don't like compromises.

Noise? Hmmm....did you try to regrease them? You may have to pull them off to do them right. I suspect the 1le will be softer than the prothane. Just not sure how much.
