Looking for something similar to the MSD Dashhawk
I have a Nissan 240 with a LS1 from an 02 WS6. I use a TH350 trans, and a OEM ecu, but reprogramed of coarse. I have a slew of autometer gauges, but I am looking for something that can display engine information without having to drive around with my laptop.
So I came across the MSD dashhawk this is a very nice little package at a hell of a price, but it onlu works with 05 and newer vehicles because of the use of CAN.
So I cant use it, but I would like something like it that shows me engine codes, and information and status of the engine. What are some other options?
This is the dashhawk here- Its less then 300 bucks by the way

The MSD Racpac is a little too much for my needs with the GPS and all, plus I allready have my cluster set up.
The other gauge by Aeroforce. The dont have an application list yet, but it looks like its also for the CAN system only. From what I gathered CAN is a databus that was inplemented in 2005 onto ODBII vehicles. The ODBII port had two unused pins and the CAN was added using these pins.
Maybe im out of luck and have to do something else.
Anyhow use something similar without CAN?
