O.k. I replaced my MAP with the Cobalt 2-bar and I am going to fire the car up to get it to the tuners. With the 2-bar MAP installed but tuned for a stock MAP will it run enough to get it on the trailer? Also I am going SD and I plan on leaving the MAF out. Will it run?

 

It will run like *** if at all, might want to put the 1-bar
on for the drive. If removing the 2-bar from the back of
the manifold is inconvenient maybe just plug the 1-bar
into the harness and tee a vacuum hose into the brake
booster line to feed the old MAP.

 

A little more difficult with the Kenne Bell. You have to take off the blower just to get to the back of the MAP sensor. As long as it runs and gets on the trailer I will be fine. Any chance of this?

 

The ones i have seen attempt to do this, the car wont do much more then fire and die, if it fires at all.

 

Yeah I thought I could get a car on a trailer after a MAP switch once before too...

 

That sucks......O.k. back to the stocker and will swap it out later and reinstall in the correct location. I need to put a winch on the trailer for crap like this......

 

If you know somebody with efi live who can pull your tune and email it to me, id be happy to make the MAP sensor adjustment so it will run for you
