Car Won't Start Help! When I tried to send a file to the PCM, I got an error that the file didn't match the hardware. Hmm.
Tried to read the PCM. Kept trying to re-send the security key. Hmm. Tried to start the car. Cranks but that is it.
What the heck happened? PCM fried??

Re: Car Won't Start Help! You may have just created a door stop....PCM = TOAST
If you can get your vehicle to a dealer you can have the reflash it with their tech tool. Sometimes they can breath life back into them.

Re: Car Won't Start Help! That same thing just happend to me. I started to load a program to the PCM, program stopped and then there was no communication between PCM and predator. Truck wouldn't start so a tow to the stealer and about 500 later I had a new PCM... old one was fried.

Re: Car Won't Start Help! They told me they will transfer the license to me for $50. They don't transfer the cable to another VIN. They would have to add a VIN costing me $150
