Default How in the heck do i have Knock?? look at my log

Alright. this is on a stock block 4.8 with only a mild cam and c6 manifolds with short dumps and no mufflers (facing forward and down...

60lbs injectors, edelbrock manfold, ect.... going to be boosted, trying to get it tuned decent on motor first

Running 2 bar SD... on a HPT Pro Interface

I have no idea how i am getting so much knock retard.......

fuel is sufficient, (logging AEM O2 so that can be seen)

not much timming at all....

I just don't know, I can feel it hesitating ect. when it starts pulling timming

My only thought is maybe the exhaust is too loud and is interfering?? is that possible?

anyway.... a quick 1-3 WOT log.... please let me know your thoughts

and this is with the system locked into open loop so i can tune via my wideband

thanks

zac

I don't see a log file but exhaust banging is one way to get
false knock detects. Also the big injectors may be not quite
tuned in. See if you have a "lean dip" on the NBO2 sensors
preceding a knock detect, if so then it's an air/fuel problem.
