Default no need to worry

To all of the folks that responded to the Beta Book request, many thanks!
I pulled the previous post regarding the book as we reached our need for 50 testers awefully quickly. Again, my thanks to those that responded.

As for not immediately responding to pms, my apologies, but we were tied up with all of the "stuff" that goes into producing a book like this as well as continuing to run Masport Speed Shop...no easy task all combined!

I appreciate everybody's patience and can assure you that things are moving ahead! We're hoping to have the books shipped this Wednesday (July 02) to all of the confirmed testers.

Once we have the final product ready, we'll post again and let everybody here at LS1tech know that there's a book out there that can help just about anyone tune their own vehicle as fully as possible within the constraints of their equipment and resources.

Thanks again, guys!!
Cheers,
Dan

Am I to assume that even though I was one of the first to respond in the thread and also went online and registered for the beta test, I'm not a 'confirmed tester' - haven't heard back from you since your initial email.

PM me your email address. We have emailed almost everyone who has provided a proper email address to confirm a shipping address, but some haven't responded back to confirm their proper email or shipping address.

Understand we haven't "cut anyone out". We are, however, still waiting for email responses back from a few people yet, and we have also received some returned email due to undeliverable email addresses. Our customer registration process doesn't give you the opportunity to add your LS1tech handle, so we can't just correlate your posts to the thread with your shipping address. Please pm me the appropriate information if you think you haven't been contacted by us yet and we'll straighten this out and send out a copy of the beta book asap.

Cheers,
Dan

PM sent - you did send me an initial email about shipping address verification to which I replied back with no further responses.

Mine came a couple of days ago.

Starting reading it today. It's been very informative so far. Will be taking it on vacation with me next week... (I can be such a geek sometimes)

Yeah I'm getting my tonsils out on the 23rd and taking two weeks off, hopefully it won't be that big of a deal and I can get to working on the tune during that time...although that would mean getting the rear end install finished and the WB hooked up!

I was one of the guys late responding. I got "the book" (as my wife calls it)
last week and was literally sleeping with it.
I have never read any books on tuning and do not have HP tuners YET.
After reading it I feel confident enough to say that I will be buying HP tuners pro in the near future. It was missing some things with re-calibrating the MAF and 2 Bar tuning.
Dan already responded to my feedback and said they will be added in the final version.

I just ordered the new LM-2 because of its Data logging features & can use it on
all my vehicles easily.

Sick of having to rely on other people for tuning! I say "Do it!"

Funny I think we all gave him the same feedback on the MAF and VE. He is going to add a chapter on doing a tune from scratch before the Case studies.

Easy read and alot of good information, look forward to some great changes to make it more of a how to guide. Its a great book for anyone looking to tune or just understand what the engine is doing.

So when can the rest of us buy a copy?

Anyone want to sell their copy after they read it?
