hand held tuner
hand held tuner hi, im kinda new to my 99 TA and im trying to start off with just the basic boltons so far i have purchased the SLP 350 HP PAC which includes the SLP air lid, SLP ram air kit, SLP smooth bellow, blackwing filter, and SLP LM1 catback. the next mod i have in mind would be a tuner, im not good with tuning so all i want is somthing simple, yes no and im done. what would be the best option ive looked at the hypertec, diablo II, diablo II SLP, and the superchips flash pac. i would just like an extra opinion befor dropping 400 as of right now im leaning twards the superchips but can somebody with expierience help me out a little bit? thanks in advance, i know its a noob question.
There is almost always something to be gained by tuning the PCM for you combo. If you're a DIY guy, you should look into a full blown tuning suite. It's one of the best investments you can make into your hotrod.
The SLP Predator for your application has tunes developed on the dyno for your exact combo of parts, so that will provide a great means of plug and play tuning for you.
