Default Predator shifting??

I have a Predator with the line pressure at +25% and -25% for the shift timing, but I don't get good crisp shifts instead it slams and jerks hard like three times then finally shifts!!! WTF

you probably have too much time out. I have my shift time at -10% in every gear and it shifts quick. You also have to be careful on how much pressure you put it on cuz you will damage your pump.

Well i have had mine at +25press/-25 time since i have had the Predator and no problems. Shifts quick and hard at WOT, maintains the normal shift at cruise/PT.

Could the year of the car have anything to do with it(2002 Z28)? Maybe, Torque Management?

Kansas, not to ba an *******, but havent I already covered this with you? TM is not fully deleted, hell sometimes barely adjusted, and yes it more prevelant in the 02 models. might have something to do with your problem.

Make sure you have a cooler also, sometimes, my trans wil buck and shift really hard but not in a good way if i run it til it downshifts goign up hills and the likes, not often, but it does. Pull over, shut car off for 15sec, restart and its back to normal. Maybe the Yank convertor, maybe hot, dunno.
