Default 95 T/A no high rise hatch

i was wondering if anyone knew what the RPO for the high rise and the regular rear hatch is? i have a 95 trans am with a regular hatch(i wanna know if it came stock or someone replaced it) i have Y82 RPO and WS9 but i do not have the W66 code therfore thinking its a T/A not a formula....

I thought the Trans Am GT (base FB spoiler, no T-tops???) was only available as a '94 model year, but I'm not for sure.

The RPO Code for the High Rise Spoiler is T43. It wasn't available until 1994 and I believe it wasn't a standard option on the Trans Am until 1997. So 1994 - 1996 Trans Am could have the low-rise, base model spoiler. However I have seen very few from those years without the high rise.

Sweetbone has it right. It was only an option before 97. I've seen quite a few around my way that don't have the high rise spoiler.

OK, so there were NO '93 T/As w/ the T43 spoiler? Guess I never realized that.

ok the only T option i have is T96 so i guess it didnt come with one....and i guess y82 is the RPO for a trans am not formula(from what im told dont know for sure) so i guess i have a T/A with low rise and next step is going to see how many were produced like this.....

Y82 is Trans Am
W66 is Formula

AFAIK all `93 T/A's had the uplevel spoiler
`94's had 2 versions
Y82 Trans Am and Y83 Trans Am GT(with uplevel spoiler + some other performance enhancements)
In `95 the uplevel became an option.

ahhh...i see thats nice to know cause i was about ready to buy formula front end and rear to take it back to stock.....all i need now is a new nose(the one i have isnt original cause there is no firebird logo and also no front lic. plate braket that my glove box says comes with it) so now i know to get a T/A nose.

The Firebird logo and front plate Bracket can be purchased at a dealer they are seperate pieces.

yes there were. IIRC there were no 93 T/As without the high rise spoiler as all 1993 T/A's were GT's and the base/GT thing didn't come out until 94, and then in 95 the base/GT went away and it was just a trans am with separate options like the T43 rear spoiler and GU5 performance axle, etc.

I have seen a 95 T/A that had every single option (that i could tell anyway) EXCEPT the rear spoiler. it was kind of weird. it was that rare blue color, had t-tops, leather, traction control, CD (i think) but no rear spoiler. it was kind of weird to see.

to the person with the 110 speedo, i originally though that was caused due to not having the 3:23 GU5 option, however i think it had more to do with whether or not you got the performance tires. Mine came with the 150 speedo and the 3:23 FWIW (i think the only opton mine did not have was a CD player or traction control, which i don't even think was available in early 95. my car has a build date of somewhere between september 94 and december 94 as i found september stampings on the upholstery when i was changing it out, and the car was registered in hawaii at the end of december 94 when it was purchased)

Correct the 110 speedo is based on the Tires optioned.
The standard Eagle GA's were not Z rated.
