Default Needing some mod advice.

First post here please don't flame me and tell me to search through forums for answers I do when I can but with 2 small children it's difficult to get much free time hi^.

I came to the darkside today and purchased a 2002 ws6 completely stock and Im looking for some advice on the best upgrades.

Cam? exhaust, Headers, bolton's any recommendations would be greatly appreciated,

As far as what im interested in basically I love the sound of a car with a loop, and a very aggressive sounding exhaust. Ive looked around at some products but dont want to waste money on crap and not go the correct route from the get go..

thanks to anyone helpful in advance!

Is it a six speed or auto? Do you have to pass emissions? Is gas mileage a concern?

Welcome to the dark side, I too have a WS6 of my own and also stock (for now)

I would start off my getting an air lid as a first mod regardless of what your plans are in the future. The SLP lid is a very popular choice and it looks great as well.

Second, I would start off with a catback exhaust of your choice. You said that you like an aggresive sound, therefore I would look into one of the SLP kits that are offered for our cars, also they are under 500 dollars and made of stainless steel.

After your catback you should look into a set of long tube headers of your choice. They all gain roughly the same rwhp so the choice is yours.

Cheers,

Striker.

It's an automatic, I do not have to pass emissions in the state of florida and No gas mileage really isnt a concern.

Get a 3600 or higher stalled converter!!!!! If you go to the track you will see atleast .4 tenths with sticky tires. Plus your shift extentions will be higher so you stay in your powerband when your car shifts. I noticed a bigger seat of the pants difference with the converter than any other mod I have done (IE. Headers, cam, gears) with the exception of nitrous. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.
