Default 95 Firebird Formula?

I am currently looking to purchase an F-body and found a good priced 95 Formula. but everywhere i look at specs it says it runs a full sec slower than the 94 and 96? what 1/4 times do the usually run stock with the LT1? is this a mistype or is this true and why would it be for the same car and engine? should i jump on the 95 or maybe go with the 94 camaro z28?

would appreciate all feedback. thanks

I had a '95 formula for 5 years. It was one of the best cars I have ever owned.

LT1s, like the LS1s, all run pretty much the same, +/- trans / A4 rear gear. Low-mid 14s, w/ some breaking into the 13s is typical.

I think '95s was the last year for OBD-I.

95 is one of the best years for the LT1 imo.

on the one hand you have the older OBD1 which means less emissions crap and on the other hand you have the newer MAF (as opposed to the SD of 1993) and vented opti. 1995 is like the best of both worlds.
