I'd either sand it down and get less coats on there or make it brighter somehow, that cant be safe driving in sunlight....maybe okay at night but I'd be scared during the day.

Definitely go with LED's but that might not be bright enough to make them stand out like stock. Might have to sand a coat off to make them easily visible again like they were before.

Go with white leds red leds make them darker than stock ones. Ive been down that road before. superbrightleds.com have a good selection of bright led lights. I have no affiliation with them just use there products.

ordered the led lights as soon as they are in i will post a pic , i really dont want to take any coats of black off if i have to i will add more lights to each side

They are pretty dark, I put 2 coats of VHT Nightshades, and 4 coats of clear and color sanded and buffed. They look so deep I love it. They are still very bright at night. No complaints whatsoever. I've been doing body work for a while, so they look better than any other set i've seen. I spent a lot of time getting them perfect.
