Default No rear spoiler?

Not sure if this has been posted before or not, BUT I DID SEARCH IT and didn't find anything.

Here lately I've been curious if anyone may have taken off their rear spoiler on a 4th gen. TA. I just want to see what it may look like with it off.

It might look horrible or may look good. (In my eyes)

Has anyone done this? Or have any pictures of it done?

Yes, guys do this when they want thier TA to look like a Ford Probe.

Stop searching, it's heinous.

Haha, I honestly don't think it would look good.

But I'm still curious to see what it looks like.

Convertibles are pretty "heinous" also. In my opinion.

picture a ford probe and thats the look you get. I had mine off when doing the lexan rear window and I could not finish the job fast enuff so the car would look good again.

I wish I had a pic, but I did have MY car's rear spoiler off when I was sanding the body - the car took on a whole different look; it looked like a shark (according to three seperate people at three different locations...).

I liked the look, but I liked the raised spoiler look better.

(Sorry about the zero pics... )

Thats funny, because I was thinking the exact same thing. Just a big rx7.

And it may look like a Ford Probe but damnit I still wanna see it haha.

Probably end up having to go out to the garage and taking it off myself.

Like I said it's my opinion.
Just think they are ugly.
Not here to start a fight.

And wow I really like that blue.
That car doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.

Actually, i wonder what it would look like with...a different wing...nothing crazy, but maybe something like the early third gen spoilers.

You know, I want to see it with a Camaro hatch and spoiler.... I bet that wouldn't look half bad...

I never liked the rears of the trans ams anyways....except the formulas...

Here's a question I don't think I've heard: What would a smooth Firebird spoiler look like on a Camaro? Of course there would be a few modifications to do in the middle. (Possibly make the "Berger" panel a little taller and tint the tails)

I'll have to try a photochop on this idea.

Without the spoiler they look like a Ford Probe and a Sunfire had sex. I think the T/A spoiler is one of the things that gives it the great style. The only thing better than the stock spoiler IMO is the Mecham spoiler:

I think I'm with those that just want something different than the "SS or TA" spoilers.

YUCK! haha I'm not feeling that spoiler at all. But whatever floats your boat.

Yeah I love the TA from the rear end with the spoiler. It looks really good. But sometimes I just dont like how wide it is.

Without the spoiler Trans Am's don't look right at all. Any spoiler made specifically for the TA is better than no spoiler at all.
