Can you get a pic from the front of the car.
I'd like to get an idea what it'd look like from walking up to it, or what oncoming traffic would see.
I like that you're trying something new with the stock hood. But it kinda reminds me too much of the early 4th gen hoods... which I'm not a fan of.
More pics!! Goodluck.

Subscribing as well! I am very glad to see someone else cutting a smooth hood. Very cool project. I must admit, I like the painter's tape color with the white! May be cool to paint the extractors blue.
I am kind of getting the GT40 vibe

Since it seems like someone has already tried everything to do with these cars, my hat off to you for coming up with this. Very creative and cool. I like it!

sorry no progress. Things have been rather hectic with the holiday season and the wife working nights; I have baby duty. I'm gonna try to do the rest of the cutting/etc. soon, if not, have to push everything for the new year. It may be some time until another update...

Very nice! I actually had thought of doing something akin to this, but I don't have the materials nor the tooling to do it properly. I'd love to see this completed, it might bring some new life to the formula hoods that can't seem to be sold!

Way to be creative! I love what you're doing and your willingness to be different. Just a thought though, is there enough room to fab up an airbox and draw in air vs. the openings being heat extractors?
