Beautiful man

The only thing that I would have done was put on black wheels with a machined lip.. Again that is me. I love that look.. Otherwise gorgeous car

Thumbs up

Simply stunning!! I should have picked up a 2nd gen when nobody wanted them, heck they are outrageous now. Yours is a stellar example! Good job. Is that a factory his and hers or did somebody put a GTO one in there? Also, is that a Dude scoop?

Thank you. I almost did get the black, but I really like the old school grey center. However; My goal this year is to restore the original Honeycombs.

Thank you. I really enjoy it. It's nice going to shows and seeing peoples reactions. No lie, one guy was just staring at the car and just started crying. Apparently he had a 76 and he sold it due to health issues. So sad.

Thank you! The GTO you speak of is part of the collection. The GTO is an 05 with a custom shaker and hood kit. Not sure what you mean about a Dude scoop.

Here are a few pics of the GTO.

I was referring to the Hurst shifter in your 2nd gen. I usually see them in late 60's GTO's. And your shaker looks higher than normal but like the shifter deal, I'm not too savy with the 2nd gens. Oh, a "Dude Scoop" is an aftermarket shaker that sits higher. You should go check out www.forums.performanceyears.com/forums/ there are alot of Pontiacs there. That is a killer looking late model GTO as well, I love the shaker.

Ahhhh. I see. I bought the Dual gate Hurst shifter and I kept the stock one for that "just in case" moment. The shaker does sit higher than normal. I have a Performer RPM intake manifold and it obviously is taller than the stock unit. I also kept the stock intake manifold for the same reason. But thanks for the link. I need to modify my current air cleaner lid to sit just a little lower to give it more clearance. Thanks for the compliment on the GTO though. My bad I misunderstood ya.

Sweet. The His and Her's was always very cool deal. There is a WFO Performance drop base air filter unit for use with Performer RPM or Torker 2 intake manifolds you might be interested in. Yeah, I have read enought to know your intake selection can be limited due to the shaker. hehe
Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and the valuable info. I definitely will have to do some more research. There are still a few little things that I need, but nothing major.

Beautiful 75! You should come poke your head in over at transamcountry.com, it's a pretty good second gen site.

Thank you. I was very lucky with this car. Very solid which made for a nice restoration. Glad I was able to save this one. I just don't see them anymore especially in this condition. I'll definitely post up some more pics and a video clip. Jorge

Thank you. 74 is one of my favorite years. It has crossed my mind to get the YearOnes, especially the billet Honeycombs they offer, but I would rather restore the original Honeycombs. One of my goals for this year.
