Exhaust, hood, ram air box, rpo code, should be a sticker on the drivers side door with all the RPO codes, or you could just get the vin and run that to verify it

you can run it through here

exhaust? uhm NO. the ws6 option was a handling package, all 4th gen ws6's came with 17" wheels, better suspension, ram air hood and air box, earlier ws6 cars (2nd gens/3rd gens) had better suspension and ram air hoods, except 3rd gens, suspenion only, no ram air.

Skip the 97. Go for a 98 or newer...

96-97's are better looking than 98+. They are a little slower but anything can be made fast with money.

Exhaust was exactly the same except the tips. The WS6 was called: Ram Air Performance and Handling Package. Mainly suspension but the hood/air box added HP.

hmm. i thought the WS6's had the oval ones while the non WS6's had the dual circle tips. I personally prefer my non WS6 dual circle tips to the WS6's ovals.

The WS6 used the stock Comp TA exhaust tips. As cast but a polished edge at the end of the tip. 97 got polished all over. Basically like the wheels.

And yes, the exhaust was identical down to the part numbers between the WS6 and non WS6. Only difference was the dual tips were swapped for oval tips.
