On a side note, lose all decals except on shaker and fender emblem, lose pinstripe and spoiler, lose the black plastic crap around the headlights and replace with small honeycomb pattern (for all air dams as well) and this thing will be the best I've seen.

Agreed, and I hope they never make another Firebird in the future, which I think is pretty safe since Pontiac is non-existence anymore.... God forbid they come out with a "Chevrolet Firebird" in the future. If they do there is NO WAY it will look as good as the WS6 LS1. Besides, I've got an '02 and its fun to say "its the last year they made them"

Anyone who says any Firebird resembles a Camaro is just stating the obvious. The Firebird was forced to be designed quickly within the confines of the Camaro design back in '67, and they always followed that trend from that point on since they obviously shared the same platform. If I had to compare, I'd say the 2010 "Firebird" looks more like a Firebird than say the 1967 Firebird did.

I'm not sure how many of you have seen this yet. I picked up the latest Hot Rod magazine and saw that this guy Tod Warmack from Trans Am Depot is converting some Camaro's to Trans Am's. GM won't do it but this guy made a pretty nice version of the old Bandit T/A. I'm not too sure how much he'll be selling them for though. But, it's an interesting read if you get the chance.

In case not everyone knows....you can now order one of these cars from GearHead Performance. It is real. It is happening. They sent me pictures of the first production car in progress. Deposit of $2500 and a price of $52,000 for the base car. Optionaly twin turbo LS9. There will be an official unveiling, a bunch of magazing arcticles, and if anyone wants one you can buy the first twin tubro, the actual car that people will be testing. Im making a new post

In the article they were saying it will still probably be changed even more. It didn't sound like they had actually had the final design ready yet. I just thought it was interesting that an outside organization was building a package for those who love the T/A.
In that magazine they also had another guy....(forget his name)..that was doing a version of the '71 Retro with honeycomb wheels on it. It looked pretty sharp too. I personally wouldn't get one. I'm content with my WS6 and will keep it as long as I can.
